Celebrating Excellence: Dr. Anne Bissonnette inducted to the University of Alberta Museums Curator Hall of Fame

The University of Alberta Museums has recognized the efforts and hard work of Curators, Collection Staff, and volunteers who work in the museum collections on campus for the last 22 years in the annual Museum Celebration awards event. Although the last two years we have had to celebrate these achievements remotely, it is still important to acknowledge the outstanding work of the museum community on campus.

This year, Dr. Anne Bissonnette (ALES, Department of Human Ecology) was recognized for her work and dedication.

Since joining the Department of Human Ecology in 2009, Dr. Bissonnette’s continued contributions to research excellence and curatorial accomplishments within the Clothing and Textiles Collection have been noted by her peers. Her dedication to student-lead exhibitions have not only raised the profile of the Anne Lambert Clothing and Textiles Collection on an international scale, but also have ensured that University of Alberta undergraduate students gain experience working on innovative and quality exhibitions.
